dc.description.abstract The Teaching and Learning Center at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, offers professional development initiatives (PDI) to the faculty every fall and spring. For two years the librarians at Florida Southern’s Roux Library offered to conduct a PDI, but not enough faculty members signed up for the classes and they were canceled. To increase the appeal, we decided to rethink our proposal and considered what has been successful for us.
