dc.description.abstract | In this project, I will characterize major ethical frameworks and apply them to a series of ethical dilemmas encountered in prehospital emergency medicine, giving EMTs and Paramedics a toolbox for making moral judgements in the field. For this project to serve as both a tool for EMS providers and an academic application of ethical theory, I have structured it in such a way that it should be accessible and beneficial to members of both disciplines. For this reason, I strive to paint a picture of the realities of prehospital emergency medicine as well as provide a thorough explanation of philosophical concepts. | en_US |
